WEALTH launches tree planting initiative in Saskatchewan

In partnership with Canada Forest Trust, WEALTH (WCPD Inc.) is pleased to announce the planting 2,000 new trees in Arran, Saskatchewan โ€“ the beginning of a major commitment stretching to 2030.

In all, our firm will plant 12,500 trees over the next several years as part of our broader commitment to community impact.

WEALTH specializes in Structured Flow-Through Shares, a long-standing tax policy that finances Canadian, early-stage mineral exploration companies. In particular, this structure provides financing for critical mineral exploration, the building blocks for technology, innovation, and our green energy future.

Since 2006, our clients have used Structured Flow-Through Shares to not only finance this exploration, and support the Canadian economy, but also reduce their personal and corporate taxes, while also giving to Canadian charities of their choice.

Alongside this, our firm has chosen to invest in environmental restoration initiatives that contribute to long-term ecosystem resilience. Our reforestation partnership with Canada Forest Trust, tracked transparently through SmartForest Hub, reflects our belief that responsible capital formation should be paired with measurable environmental stewardship.

As part of this new initiative, our trees will be monitored through verified reforestation initiatives in Canada. Over their lifetime, they are expected to sequester approximately 3,125 tonnes of COโ‚‚, the equivalent of nearly 88,000 one-way flights from Ottawa to Toronto.
