Breakfast uplifts less fortunate during holiday season

As we enter the home stretch of the holiday season, WCPD Inc. seeks to uplift those in our community that help the less fortunate.

Earlier this month, WCPD Inc. purchased a corporate table at the Christmas Cheer Breakfast in support of the Shepherdโ€™s of Good Hope Foundation. Peter Nicholson, the Founder and President of WCPD Inc., donated four seats to staff members at the Foundation to show appreciation for all that they do.

โ€œAny help we can get to let people know we are the only major service provider to the homeless that helps men and women 24/7 with all of our programs is greatly appreciated,โ€ said Neil Leslie, the Director of Philanthropy and Resource Development at the Shepherdโ€™s of Good Hope Foundation.

To demonstrate the difference the Shepherdโ€™s of Good Hope can make in the lives of Canadians, Leslie wished to share this short video on a recent guest of the shelter:https://foundation.shepherdsofgoodhope.com/christmasgiftmatch

In addition to purchasing a corporate table at the Christmas Cheer Breakfast, WCPD Inc. offered four seats to employees at Shepherdโ€™s of Good Hope, including Neil Leslie, far right, the Director of Philanthropy and Resource Development.

The Christmas Cheer Breakfast raised thousands of dollars in support of the Shepherdโ€™s of Good Hope and other worthy charities.

โ€œThe holidays are a time for family, friends and togetherness,โ€ said Nicholson. โ€œIโ€™m glad we could do our little part to support these good works.โ€
