On August 22, WCPD Inc. proudly participated in the 2016 World Partnership Golf Tournament in support of Aga Khan Foundation Canada.

As the only national golf event dedicated to fighting poverty in Asia and Africa, the WCPD team was proud to hit the links and help raise money for this worthwhile cause. Golfers enjoyed perfect weather at Camelot Golf & Country Club, Ottawa and raised $130,000 for the charity.

Peter Nicholson, the President of WCPD Inc. and the WCPD Foundation, was also pleased to donate a free week at Grand Isle Resort in Exuma, Bahamas, as part of the event’s auction.

World Partnership Golf, held across seven cities in Canada, has raised more than $11 million for the developing world since its inception in 2000.
